Dogecoin price prediction: Golden cross returns, but can DOGE clear $0.10? - AMBCrypto

Reviewed by Reviewed by Jibin Mathew George Updated 21:30 EDT October 6, 2026 Share Share Share Back to Top Despite closing 1.2% higher at $0.094 on Tuesday, Dogecoin remains trapped below a price resistance level that has repeatedly stopped its recuperation

The pause comes as market reports point to DOGE’s first daily “golden cross” in 14 months. The signal suggests that its longer-term direction may be improving, but buyers still need to push the price above $0.10

A golden cross occurs when an asset’s average price over the past 50 days moves above its 200-day average

In plain language, this is when short-term prices are improving faster than the longer-term, the traders see this as the early signs that the buyers are taking back some control

The previous golden cross for the DOGE led to a rally, which later turned into lost gains. The same works perfectly here; these signals merely tell us how the trend has changed and cannot necessarily decide what will happen next

After marking its highest during the day at the $0.0967 price area, Dogecoin traded almost steadily near the $0.094 price area. It is trading below the resistant zone in between the $0.098 and $0.10 price areas

This is the first test buyers must overcome. DOGE has entered the region several times, but sellers have continued to block a lasting move above it

A close above $0.10 would indicate the recovery continues. The next target would then be resistance at the $0.106 price area, where the rally failed so badly in September. Should it pass that obstacle, the $0.12 level would come into view too

For now, the support near the $0.093 price level is equally important. That area has helped DOGE stay steady during its latest period of sideways trading

This support is critical; should it break, the price could drop to $0.0885. This would not undo all the recovery, but it would dampen hopes for a rapid breakthrough

The golden cross has certainly made the bigger picture brighter for Dogecoin. But there still needs to be a confirmation of if it can see a clear move above $0.10
