Most memecoins declined by 4%-9%, including majors like Shiba Inu [SHIB] and Dogecoin [DOGE]
The rally indicates that the buying of the token was isolated. But what was the catalyst behind this coin-specific strength?
Artificial Inu is paired to tokenized Nvidia [NVDA], and the bullish strength in the stock has spilled over to the memecoin. NVDA shares rallied to a new all-time high (ATH) of $243 as the stock’s market cap nearly hit $6 trillion
But AI rallied since it was the largest individual holder of NVDA shares on Robinhood Chain, which is 11,776 and valued at $2.665 million. Its community vault had also stacked more than 1,264 NVDA, worth $286.157K
Artificial Inu also had deep liquidity for the stock, which accounted for 10.51K NVDA worth $2.379 million
With that, it is safe to say Nvidia stock pairing fueled this isolated rally for AI. That is why its social sentiment remained similar to that of other memecoins
For instance, top influencers like Ansem and platforms like Bubblemaps remained neutral. Moreover, its daily trading volume was low, at around $12 million
On the charts, the decoupling from the broader weaker sector was evident as it started to align with Nvidia. However, AI was still susceptible to a sharp drop if the memecoin sentiment worsened
The coin’s Correlation Coefficient with NVDA was starting to pick up, though it was still in the negative territory at 26. Hence, its price broke above a multi-week trendline resistance at $0.1186
Moreover, the Bull Bear Power (BBP) flipped bullish after ten straight days of bearish control. If the breakout holds, the memecoin could enter a trend toward $0.38, but hurdles remain at $0.18, $0.22, and $0.30
On the other hand, losing the trendline would revert AI back to the downtrend, seeking a quick retracement to $0.10. A fake breakout occurred on the 25th of September but failed to hold
Therefore, AI’s market outlook shows strong independent demand that has decoupled from the sector-wide selling pressure
