QNT to $50,000? Could Quant’s Low Supply Drive Its Market Cap to $600 Billion?

Crypto influencer and founder of “Apex Crypto Insights” says Quant (QNT) will reach $50,000 per token because of its limited supply

The influencer said on X that at $50,000 per token, QNT would have a market value of about $600 billion, similar to Ethereum’s highest market value during the 2021 crypto bull market. To him, investors are underestimating the coin and will regret not investing earlier

Notably, his comments come as QNT posted a strong price increase in September, drawing renewed attention to its limited supply

According to CoinMarketCap, QNT was trading at $285.68 after rising 302% in one week and 362.4% in one month. It has a total supply of about 14.88 million tokens, with around 12.07 million currently in circulation. The token has about 185,460 holders

At $50,000 per token, QNT’s market value would reach around $603.5 billion, assuming the circulating supply remains unchanged. Based on the full 14.88 million-token supply, its total valuation would reach about $744 billion

A $603.5 billion market cap would put QNT near Ethereum’s peak market value of roughly $576 billion in November 2021

While the comparison with Ethereum works on market value alone, the two networks remain different in adoption, activity, and use cases

QNT’s recent price increase stands out against its historical performance. It reached an all-time high of $428.38 in September 2021

At $285.68, QNT remains about 34% below that record. Its lowest recorded price was $0.1636 in August 2018. Reaching $50,000 would require QNT to rise by about 17,400%, making the token roughly 175 times more valuable than it is now

But while QNT’s limited supply makes a $50,000 price mathematically possible, the target requires a massive increase in demand

Quant launched in 2018 to connect different blockchain networks. Its main technology, Overledger, connects multiple blockchains and lets developers build applications that operate across different networks

Developers use Overledger to build multi-chain applications, known as MApps. Access to certain services requires users to hold QNT, creating direct demand for the token

This utility forms a major part of the investment case surrounding QNT. As businesses and financial institutions expand their use of blockchain technology, demand for interoperability services becomes increasingly important

Indeed, at $50,000, QNT would have a circulating market capitalization of $603.5 billion. However, reaching that valuation requires enormous demand for the token. The main factors shaping its future price include

In sum, Quant’s 302% weekly increase has brought renewed attention to its limited supply and long-term price potential. But the $50,000 target remains a hypothetical scenario in the short term
